I went to the theatre ast night to see my friend in a show she was doing, and me and David went for a gorgeous curry afterwards. Ive called this my "evil eyes" as thats what David calls it whenever I wear dark eye make up, strange man haha!

FOTD; Easter Sunday 2012

I actually forgot I had even taken these photos, which is why this psot is so late! But better late than never, I can remember exactly what I was wearing make-up wise anyway...

Most of my make up styed very similar from what I did on Good Friday (post here), but I toned down the eyes and the bronzer a little so the bright lip didnt look too much.

Face:
Jemma Kidd Light As Air Foundation 02 Light
Nars Laguna Bronzer
Nars Orgasm Blush
Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme Iced Gold
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Medium

Eyes:
Mac Vintage Selection Paint Pot
Urban Decay Virgin (All over lid)
Urban Decay Toasted and Hustle (Through crease)
Maybelliene Gel Liner
Bourjois The Volumizer Mascara

Lips:
No7 Lip Liner in Plum
MAC Lipstick in Girl About Town

When I use this lipstick I always use a swipe of Lipcote over the top to keep it in place for literally ever, I can put this on for a night out and fter trying to wie it off with a wipe in the early hours, I wake up the next morning and my lips are always still stained this colour!

FOTE/OOTE: Good Friday

I realise this is slightly late, but hey ho its here anyway. On Good Friday a huge bunch of us went out for the night as we do every year. Heres how I did my makeup and what I wore (Please excuse my hair!)...

 Face:
L'Oreal Studio Secrets Resurfacing Primer
Jemma Kidd Light as Air Foundation 02 Light
Collection Lasting Perfection Conceler 01 Fair
Nars Laguna Bronzer
Nars Orgasm Blusher
Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme Iced Gold

Eyes:
MAC Vintage Selection Paintpot
Urban Decay Virgin (inner half)

Urban Decay Hustle (Through crease)
MAC Beauty Marked (Outer V)
Maybelliene Gel Liner
Bourjois The Volumizer Mascara

Lips:
Carmex Lip Balm
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick Nude Delight
MAC Baby Sparks Dazzleglass

The dress I wore is from Topshop, Im not too sure if they sell it anymore but I absolutely loooove it! It is extremely short, way more than I would usually go but I feel it doesnt look too slutty because of the higher neckline, maybe? I just paired it with black wedges and a black bag, I think any other accessories would have been a bit too much for one outfit.

I cant call this a prope giveaway, because these things have been used (once or twice at most) so I cant g on as if this i some fantastic giveaway. Nars Wicked Attraction

First things first, yeh I broke my spending ban, and as youll see Ive broke it a whole lot more in Manchester! But once I get home its full steam ahead to sticking to it.

The Nars Wicked Attraction set is £35, and I got mine from asos.com.
I used the Saver Devliery option with is free and it still arrived in 3 days which I thought was fantastic.

The set came with a duo of Laguna bronzer and Orgasm blusher, Fathom eyeshadow, eyeshadow primer and a Larger Than Life lipgloss in Spring Break. I bought this as it looked like such a good deal as Ive been wanting to try Orgasm and Laguna for a long time now. However when it came the products were mch smaller than I exected, teeny tiny actually, but after the inital suprise I was fine with it.

Spring Break lipgloss is very pigmented, way more so than I expected. Its actually really wierd on me, way too nude. But Im trying t find a better way to wear it. Other than that its really pretty and I think in a brighter colour this would be a lovely formulation of gloss.

I havent used the eye primer yet as Im trying to use up the Urban Decay one I already have, but Im going to give this one a go and if its nice Im going to keep it for when I go on hliday as it absolutely tiny so great for travel! Every little helps where saving space in the make-up bag is concerned!

Photos of this duo are quite deceiving I find, its actually really small, but just enogh space to squeeze my blush brush in. Im really pleasantly suprised with these, thinking there were both over-hyped and that I would be disappointed, but Im not at all I love them and neeeeeed them in full size at some point. The Laguna bronzer is my favourite, its way more wearable for me than any other bronzer Ive tried, not orange in the slightest and really good for light skin like mine. Amazing! Orgasm is also a very pretty blush, very unique...but I have way too much blush fr now so Ill keep this little one for a while before purchasing the full size. This little duo will laso be great for taking on holiday as it fits two products in one little compact.

I'd never thought to try an eyeshadow from Nars, always focusing more on the cheek products, however as soon as I sw this I was very excited.

I took a million photos to try and get one to show how pretty this is in the pan, and this still doesnt even get close. Fathom is a very pale pink wit lots of gorgeous fine glitter. However, this doesnt transfer too amazingly onto the lid. Its still a nice all over lid colour, but not very pigmented and doesnt transfer much of the shimmer well either. Definately one thats better in the pan than on the lid, but Ill still use it as it is still nice, just not as pretty as in the pan.

What other Nars products do you love that I need to try? I think Im starting a bit of a fling with Nars!

Lustlist...#18

I havent actually done a lustlist post since JULY. So thought it was high time I did a new one as theres a lot of things Ive got my eye on but cant get yet because of my spending ban. Ive only put a few of my very favourites here, the list is extensive of all the stuff I want but dont really need. If anyone fancies buying me any of these the feel free (hint hint David, Valentines Day is in a few days!)

Click names for links!
The only maxi dress I own is cream with a massive floral print, really only holiday appropriate. I think this black one is stunning and its really affordable too which suprised me.

These would be perfect for Ibiza, Im thinking ahead to summer already, cannot wait! I never wear high waisted anything but I could make an exception for these.

Im just continuing my obsession with glitter nail polish. This one looks quite unique as it has smaller and bigger glitter bits. Oh, and its pink and very, very pretty!

I think this is a very classic, timeless dress. Me and David are having our Valentines in a few weeks insted of Tuesday when were going to Manchester for a few days, this would be perfect to wear for a lovely meal out. I love red dresses but only have one and think this would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe.

I want to add more blouses to my wardorbe as I only have two and really think theyre flattering and would like more. The colour of this one is gorgeous, I need it!

I think this set is fantastic value for money and Id love to recieve it as a gift but doubt Ill buy it myself as I need to keep to my non make-up buying ban. It contains an eyeshadow in Fathom, a blush/bronzer duo in Orgasm/Laguna, an eyeshadow primer and a lipgloss in Spring Break. The more I write about it te more I want it!

Im a massive Disney freak and love printed t-shirts for summer and feel this is a cool, liadbck way of incorporating my Disney obsession into my clothes without looking to childish.

My Favourite Products of 2011

I realise that this is later than I would have prefered, and I also would have prefered to do this a a video...But Ive currently got tonsilitus and its just not a pretty sight (or sound for that matter). So here it is in blog post form....Theres quite a lot of products in here but Ive truely been loving each and every one of them to death this year! So lets get started...

Brushes...
ELF Angled Eyeliner Brush - This is perfect for applying gel liner, and so affordable too. The angled part kind of helps to get into the eye better, if that makes sense?!
Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki - The only brush Ive used for foundation since I got it, amazing!! But a bit of a bitch to clean.
ELF Powder Brush - Pretty similar to the Sigma one, good for foundation but brilliant for cream blush, or setting powder
MAC 217 Blending Brush - My best investment this year, really soft, applies eyeshadow like a dream! Absolutely fab for blending as well as applying shadows. I want more of these.

 Face Products...
Firstly I'd like to mention MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish Natural as my favourite powder of the year, I ran out and have another en route in the post so dont have it to photograph otherwise it would be here.
MAC Dollymix Blush - Its bright pink, and its beautiful with a light hand, great for both winter and summer.
MAC Blushcreme Ladyblush - The perfect everyday colour, looks incredibly natural on the skin, my fave.
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer - Creamy, long lasting, fab coverage, inexpensive...best concealer ever.
Jemma Kidd Light As Air Foundation - Really blendable, a little goes a long way, feels so lightweight on the skin but gives an amazing coverage and is incredibly long lasting, my ultimate foundation. I even have a back-up....and I never do that with foundations!

Eye Products...
MAC All That Glitters Eyeshadow - I use this over my lid most days, everyone should own this! It will go with any skin tone too, great for a  wash of colour and a flick of liner.
MAC Satin Taupe Eyeshadow - An absolute staple in my collection, the perfect crease colour.
Urban Decay Naked Palette - Need I explain this one? Love it to death, cant wait to try Naked 2!
Avon Supershock Mascara - Loved this for years its amazingly volumising, couldnt be without this in my collection.
ELF Eyeshadow Primer - Its £3 and keeps my eyeshadow in place all day, bloody amazing.
ELF Eyebrow Treat and Tame - I only use the tame side, as a blonde brow gel, its cheap and works well too.
MAC Vintage Selection Paint Pot - Its an unreal primer, and also so pretty alone, Ive worn this to death this year.
Avon Supershock Eyeliner - It sso creamy but doesnt transfer, blackest black ever, this is my third this year! Literally cant see myself trying a different black eye kohl ever.
Maybelleine Gel Liner - Drug store price for a high end quality product. Stays in place all day and goes on a dream, much easier to use than liquid I think.

Lip Products...
Avon Pro-to-go Lipstick in Provocative Plum - Its the perfect "wash" of plummy colour, and is a nice colourul daytime option without being too full on. Lovely.
Carmex Cherry Lipbalm - Simply put, its the most effective lip balm Ive ever came across.
MAC Big Baby Plushglass - You can see how much Ive used this, its a perfect peachy nude and lovely formula, favourite ever lipgloss.
Nars Turkish Delight Lipgloss - Only bought because of Kim Kardashian (ridic.) But its actually bloody gorgeous, and looks great over nude lippie.
No7 Lip Pencil in Plum - These are so cheap with a £5 off No7 voucher and are lovely liners, really soft, I have a few and love them all just decided to picture this one
MAC Girl About Town Lipstick - My favourite night out lipstick, lovely and bright but doesnt look too crazy, I always get compliments when I wear this.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight - The perfect nude for my skin tone, no concealer lips here! Alsot he formula is super silky and gorgeous.

Skincare...
Firstly, if I could I would include my new Liz Earle products and my Clarisonic in here as they blow all other skincare Ive used out the water, but since I only owned them for 6 days of 2011, I cant really...so these lot are things I have liked, but not as much as my new stuff!
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream with SPF50 - This is my go to sunscreen, which I should use everyday but often forget. Its not greasy or suncream-ish at all, and is really a lovely moisturiser in itself. Applying this once in the morning on holiday protected my face from burning all day. Winner.
S&G Off Your Face Wipes - If you could ever find a face wipe that was really good, this is it. Expensive, but so much nicer than the cheap ones in every way.
Clearasil Seal and Clear Spot Treatment - Slightly gross, but I find this works nicely at reducing any breakouts, especially if I get them as soon as they arrive!
Dermalogica Face Mask & Exfoliant - Boy have I made these babies last me! Teeny samples but Ill never afford the full size. Each use has seen my skin magically so much cleaner and clearer and beautiful. Loveeeee.

Nails...
Barry M Nail Paint in Pink Flamingo - I never had this off my nails all summer, so pretty in the sun with a tan!
Revlon Facets of Fuschia - Love at first sight with this one, so so pretty camera doesnt do it justice.
Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Top Coat - Pretty awesome topcoat, makes my polish last ages longer! This bottle has gone gloopy now though and its nearly empty, time for a new one!
Barry M Red Glitter Nail Paint - Nothing is more Christmassy than this polish, but I want to wear it nowwww. So pretty it distracts me from things haha.

Hair...
Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo/Conditioner - I literally cant use anything other than these two when washing my hair or it goes flat as a pancake, used them all year and my hair is still responding nicely. I wont be straying at all in the near future.
Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo - Its cheap and works fine in my blonde hair for freshening it up, I only like the Tropical scent though.
Elnett Hairspray - Its just the best, by far. I love how it brushes out and doesnt leave much build up on your hair at all but still holds a style amazingly. I once had full on curls for 3 days because of this.
The Tangleteezer - The most effective yet gentle brush ever. So kind to my hair, I havent touched another brush since I got this.
John Freider Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray - This has brought a new lease of life to my nautrally dull blonde hair and its such a prettier colour now and I havet had to dye it properly. Savior!

Body, Bath, Etc...
S&G Hand Food - Best hand cream ever, gone through tonnes of this stuff now, Im slightly addicted to it.
S&G The Righteous Butter - I have got the world and his wife using this now, even my good old Nana loves it. Such a silky body butter that works wonders and smells unreal.
Paco Robanne Lady Million - This is my signature scent now. You must all smell it, Im in love with it and barely wear anything else now.
S&G The Breakfast Scrub - Another thing where I wont be straying to sample different brands, this is my favourite scrub by miles. Smells so good I could eat it and does a fabjob at slogging off my dead skin, lovely thought I know!
Lush Pop in the Bath Bubble Bar - Ive been through dozens of these this year, they have a gorgeous fresh smell that Im always in the mood for, lovely bubble bar :)
Rituals Foaming Shower Gel - Only had this a month but really love it. It leaves you feeling super clean and fresh and the foam feels rather luxurious, definately will repurchase it!

Dear me this has taken me SO long to sit and write I think I need a good cup of tea haha. Thanks for reading if you got this far!

xoxo

Naughty Little Splurge!

Ive been slightly naughty and spent some of my student loan on items that were rather expensive and really I didnt need. But I love them all so I really dont care! Apologies for the flash photos....

 Nars Turkish Delight Lipgloss
Im gunna be honest, I only got this after Kim Kardashian said she wears it all the time. My boyfriend laughed hysterically at me for this. But Im glad I got it really because it is really easy to wear and would look lovely on anyone. The gloss isnt too sticky too which is great. It is on the pricey side but I'd really recommend it. I was far too excited to buy my first ever Nars product haha.

Benefits Bella Bamba

I've lusted after this ever since it launched, always swatching it at the counters and needing it in my life. Now I have it and have used it literally every day since I bought it. As you can see above its a perfect pink blush that I think would suit anyone. Its easy to wear subtle for through the day or can be built up for evenings. I love the shimmer in it too, it makes a really nice sheen across you cheeks without looking TOO sparkly. Not to mention I could sit and look at the packaging all day - soooo pretty! It smells amazing too so thats a nice bonus. Seriously love this.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Sun Defence for Face SPF 50
This is one of my more practical purchases. Ive been looking for a good strong facial SPF for when I go away in a few weeks, and I stumbled across this one so I bought it on a whim and now I use it everyday under my make-up. It smells lovely and is really moisturising, and also a great make-up base. The SPF 50 is going to be perfect for my holiday, but Ill be using it all the time from now on to protect my skin from sun damage every day to try my best to prevent those sneaky wrinkles from creeping up on me. I know, Im only 20 but it cant do any harm.

MAC Mythical Eyeshadow
I already mentioned this in my September Favourites post as Ive loved it that much since I bought it. Its a gorgeous coppery redish brown that Ive found really nice to incorporate into my everyday make-up for Autumn. Its a lovely colour for through the crease, Ive been using it with Urban Decay's Sin over the lid with this in the crease, or MACs All That Glitters. Its really pretty worn like that and Ive already got a lot of use out of it. Its Ltd Edition in the MAC Me Over Collection but its still available! I was really drawn to Carbonized too which was a really beautiful dark greyish colour which I want to get before the collection ends. These colours really are much prettier in person than on the website though so I would go see them for yourself as the site does them no justice (neither do my photos).

MAC Girl About Town Lipstick (Amplified)
This lipstick has been on my MAC lustlist for well over a year now so I thought it was about time I bought it. I had just bought a little black dress for my birthday and I was discussing with my friend how to incorporate some colour into my look for the night, we were at the MAC counter and this just stood out to me. It was the perfect lipstick to compliment my all black outfit and spice it up a bit. It is soooo pigmented and stays on for hours, the next morning my lips were still stained the bright pinky colour! Its now a staple lipstick for me for evenings and nights out and I cant wait to use it a lot more.
