My Skincare Basket

I like to keep a lot of my skincare in this handy little basket beside my bedroom mirror. Aside from bathroom related items (cleansers, masks, etc). I do most of my skincare in my bedroom so it makes sense to keep everything I use on hand. Here's a quick run down on each product and my thoughts. 

I have other toners that I prefer to The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner, but I've had this bottle in my collection for a while now so want to get through it. Its nice as it doesn't strip your skin and feels hydrating without being greasy, just a nice little step between cleansing and moisturising.

I got the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with a Feel Unique order, and get the feeling its trying to be like the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, which Ive never tried so cant really compare. I just keep this here to use it up, its nice but I dont feel as though I ever need to reach for it.

I couldnt be without my Alpha H Liquid Gold, every blogger and their dog raves about this and for good reason. I use it every other night before bed as a treatment without moisturising after and the next morning my skin looks glowing and fresh. Magic.

The Anti-Blemish Skinetica is another sample product kept here to use up. I havent noticed any magical spot fighting results so use it as a toner when my face feels a little oily which it is alright at doing. Its nothing special to me though.

The Origins Super Spot Remover works like a dream at reducing redness and spot size, and fast. This iny bottle has lasted me forever, you only need a tiny bit. It gives that stinging feeling whic to me means its doing something and it quickly gives results, even reducing any soreness I may have from a spot.

The Dermalogica Clean Start Dream Matte Moisturiser is yet another sample to be used up. Im not the biggest fan of it in terms of how little moisture it provides, but like the matte finish for days in the house when Im not putting on makeup. This would probably suit those with much oilier skin than mine better.

You've probably heard me raving on and on about the Origins Vitazing before, so Ill keep it brief. Its a fab base for summertime giving a nice tint to the skin, Im even breaking it out now on sunnier spring-time days.

The Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser is a staple for me, its fairly basic and kind for my skin and can always be relied upon to give a nice hydrated feeling to the skin. I dont really feel the need to try anything other than this.

Im coming to the end of my tub of Origins Ginzing Eye Cream and will certainly be repurchasing. Its a great eye cream for mornings with its brightening, light reflecting formula which I find really brightens up my under eye area. 

I just use this old Batiste lid to hold a few cotton buds, I use these for so many things when Im getting ready so its just really handy to have a few on hand to get rid of any mascara smudges or other "emergencies". I like to keep a little mascara wand there too for when I do my brows, just so I always know where it is. 

I love the feeling the Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub gives to my lips, leaving them super silky and soft. I rarely use this though as it can be a bit of a faff and the sugar gets everywhere (maybe Im just clumsy). It tastes amazing too.

I rely so much on my Johnsons Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads. I only need to use them on days where Ive worn heavier eye makeup but just find theyre so convenient, especially after a night out! The pre-soaked cotton pads work wonders at breaking down mascara and liner and dont sting my eyes at all, fantastic.

The Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins is my absolute favourite night cream. It smells amazing and feels so nourishing when applied to the skin. Its a step I really enjoy before bed because it feels like Im doing my skin some good (wierd?). I always wake up with lump soft skin the next morning, another compete staple to my skincare routine. 

I keep this little tin of good old fashioned Nivea Creme handy as I sometimes use it as a moisture mask. I just whack a load of it on if my skins feeling dry if I have a few hours before going to bed and just let it soak in gradually. Goodbye pesky dry patches!

Another Origins product Im obsessed with comes in the form of Eye Doctor, my moisturising eye cream I use at night. I odnt need the brightening properties off Ginzing for bed so find this hydrating option more suitable. Another product where I feel Im being kind to my skin when applying it. 

I keep the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream For Face With SPF 50 (such a mouthful) n hand to encourage me to apply SPF. I must admit I often skip this step but do like the product when I remember to use it.

The Clarins Facial Self Tanner is amazing for giving your face a lovely healthy tanned glow. Its not scarily dark, never goes patchy and can e slotted nicely into your skincare routine after cleansing. Theres nothing I dont love about it.

Im in the process of trying to use up the Soap and Glory Bright Here Bright Now. Its basically a brightening light reflecting cream. It does brighten my complexion if its feeling a little dull but I never really reach for it so am just trying to use it up and wont repurchase it.

The Bare Minerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment is a strange product, like a mineral foundation but for going to bed. It actually gives a nice coverage too and doesnt transfer onto pillows which I find strange. That isnt really its main purpose though, it generally improves and brightens your skin in your sleep with its mineral content. I really loved this before I discovered the Liquid Gold and now that does a similar job but on a much more intense level, so I often forget to use this now. I will use it up though as it was stupidly expensive!

Last but not least I have the Mavala Double Lash, which promises to lengthen, strengthen and thicken lashes with nightly use in just 30 days. Im now on to day 28 of using it and ave noticed good results so a review will be coming on this soon.

March Empties

I havent done one of these posts for a while, I was getting through ssome products but either forgot to take a photo before throwing it away or it was just pretty boring. Luckily I remembered this month! So heres everything Ive finished up in March...

Avon Foot Works Cherry Ice Moisturising Lotion

Basically a cherry scented foot cream. Its really reeeeally runny and becaus of that I felt it didnt really do a whole lot for my feet, but Ive used it up now so thats fine. I wouldnt really buy it again though.

Soap and Glory Girligo Moisturising Mist

I love this so much, I must have about three bottles of the stuff. Its a moisturising spray which smells amazing, the same scent of most of the Soap and Glory range. It a really good option if you want a bit of moisture but dont want to wait around for a body butter to soak in, this dries really qucik but leaves you feelin lovely and smooth and smelling great.

Tresemme Instant Fresh Dry Shampoo

Im actually not a huge fan of this. I didnt find it did very muc for my hair and I had to use a ot of product before it seemed to freshen my hair at all. After a few hours my hair looked just the same as it did before I applied it. I really dont understand why so many people love this, I think Ill be sticking to my trusty Batiste!

Kleenex Extra Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes

Definately one of the best face wipes Ive ever tried. It doesnt leave a sheeny film on your skin like most do, and the texture of the wipes is really soft and lovely on the skin, it didnt irriate mine at all even my eyes. I'll be buying more of these and highly recommend them.

Rituals Fujiama Foaming Shower Gel

One of the best products Ive ever had from a Glossybox. I was gutted to run out of this, but the bottle did last me absolutely ages. A really luxurious yet fresh way of getting clean. Ive since bought a number of other foaming washes and theyre all pretty similar but much cheaper, I just really like the concept of them.

John Frieder Go Blonder Lightening Spray

You know you love a product when you buy a backup before you even finish the last one, and thats what I done with this. It has worked wonders for my hair and has really imprved the colour of it without the need for an expensive visit to the hairdressers for highlights. Ive raved on about it loads over the past few months so Ill spare you it now, but its just really nice.

The Body Shop Mango Body Butter

This is one of my favourite scents of these body butters, it mells like the Munch Bunch yoghurts I used to eat when I was little. Everyone knows how good these are, and Ill definately be buying more, so yummy.

I also finished the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, but forgot to take a photo oops! Everyone knows its blummin amazing anyway

December Empties

Not many products finished up this month, and Im not too sure wh its just how its gone this month. Im pretty excited to be trying out loads of new things in the next few months, things I got for Christmas and other things I intend to purchase very soon so Ill keep you updated on that too!

So this month I finished up the packet of bath salts from Dead Sea Spa Magik. I got these with my Glossybox one month and its the first thing Ive actually finished from the Glossybox products Ive received. However, that doesnt mean they were my favourite, I simply had to use them up quite quickly because of the awkward packaging. Once you cut open the packet there wasnt any real way of sealing it back up, which led to me spilling a load of it into one of my drawers, which I stil have to clean out! I was pleased with the size of this sample though, 250g of bath salts aint too bad, and I got about 4 or 5 baths out of this packet. The product itself isnt something I would repurchase, as I cant say I felt liek it did too much. It didnt have any scet at all which I found lsightly boring, and also I cant say I noticed any of the ski softening benefits it claims to provide. The packaging also says it relieves aching muscles, and I used this after a particularly strenuous day and didnt really find it did anything at all. Never mind, at least its used up and not spilling in my drawers now!

Im particularly sad to come to the end of my bottle of Kylie Minogues Darling perfume. This was once my every-day go to perfume that I would throw in my bag every single day, and that was around 2 years ago and this is still the same bottle that I owned then. Its really lasted me well. Im ont going to try and attempt to describe the scent because Im rubbish at it, but it smells quite unique...I would notice it a mile off as its not like anything else I own. I dont think Ill repurchase it as I generally dont buy myself perfume and only get it as gifts, and there are so many others I want to try and like much more than this one at the minute. But the secnt will always transport me straight back to 2009, and thts why I love it :)

Ive worked my way through yet another tub of The Body Shop's Body Butter, and this tim its the coconut one...one of my personal favourites. I never actually buy myself these, but I love them and always somehow seem to aquire a few throughout the year. This one originally was in a gift set my Dad recieved amongst shaving stuff and aftershave and he gave it to me as he wasnt going to use it. These little 50ml pos last FOREVER ecause of the thick and rich consistency of the butter. For me this is defnately one I would put on at night before bed as I find it takes a while to sink in but you wake up with lovely silky smooth skin and the scent is amazing. I have a mango one sat waiting for me to break into, as well as my beloved Righteous Butter so Im all stocked up with butters for now so wont be repurcashing this for the time being. I would still definately recommend it to anyone though!

October Empties

I havent done an empties post in so long, simply because I got sick of keeping empty products hanging around for weeks waiting for the end of the month to photograph them. I finished up lots of products when I went to Lanzarote as I took it as an oppourtunity to take away loads of nearly empty things and just chuck them out while I was away. However these few things Ive just finished all within the past few days so I thoght I would shove them in a little post....

Mac MSF Natural: This is the best face powder Ive ever tried. It gives a tiny bit of colour and coverage so can be worn alone for those non-foundation days, or works really nice as a setting powder. I used this everyday since I bought it in April, and have always taken it on nights out for a touch up in the Ladies so I dont look shiny and sweaty in any pictures that happen to be taken and it works a treat. Now Ive ran out and have a million parties coming up so I dont know what to do as I cant afford a new one just yet =/




Avon Supershock Mascara: This is my most repurcashed mascara ever and my all time favourite. This is about my 6th tube now, and I dont have any back-ups because I bought the new Supershock Max to see how that differs from this...Im still deciding! Next time my Avon rep gives me a catalogue Ill definately be ordering a new one. Although I do want to try others out saying as Ive been using this one for so long.

Eyeko Big Eyes Mascara: Im completely gutted theyve discontinued this! Its literally the best mascara ever for instantly ginormous lashes, and now mine has dried up. Boo! I used to use this over my Avon mascara for extra volume, especially for nights out. I always get compliments when I use it because my lashes look like falsies but theyre not. So Im definately gunna miss this!

The Body Shop Vit. E Night Cream: This was only a tiny 15ml pot but managed to last me about 4 months of using it every night all over my face, so a little really goes a long way. I love the Vit. E range from The Body Shop, I jsut feel like its good for my skin and does a good job of taking care of it, it smells like babies as well...like talc. It gives a lovely soft velvety finish once applied and my skin always feels really nourished and moisturised in the morning. Now Im night cream-less! I really want to buy the big tub of this but Im always willing to try new things if anyone has a good night cream to recommend?

Ive Finished Project 10 Pan...Twice!

I realise that title sounds like Im boasting, but Im actually proud to have finished what is really a Project 20 Pan. I realise Ive barely been posting at all recently, but I put a lot of it down to P10P doing my head in haha. But I actually finished this a few weeks ago so I have a few haul posts to show you too!

 I have to be honest, its been completely crap trying not to buy things until I finished 20 products and I know itll be a loooong time before I do it again! Heres the last 4 products it took to finish it once and for all...

The Body Shop Vitamin E Body Lotion

I looooooove this stuff! It smells like a baby product if you know what I mean, and it soaks in beautifully. I find that a lot of body lotions or butters take ages to sink in or leave an annoying sheen on my skin. This sinks in really quickly and leaves me feeling moisturised and soft rather than sticky. Ill definately buy this again.

 

Lacoste Touch of Pink Pefume

This has been my favourite summer daytime frangrance for YEARS. Ive constantly had a bottle of this going for at least 5 years now. So I feel kind of sad that this one has ran out and I dont have any more. Its so light and fresh and will just always smell great, I miss it already.

Soap and Glory Flake Away

This is one of my favourite body scrubs, it does such a good job at getting rid of dead skin and leaves a kind of oily sheen. Which i guess coudl be moisturising, but the thought of getting out of the shower feeling greasy is gross, so I always use a shower gel after this. I dont mind at all because it gives a really nice feel to the skin and I love it!

Soap and Glory Hand Food

I use hand cream A LOT. Im kind of addicted to it. Its taken me month and months to finish this tube so a little really goes a long way. It smells very soap-and-glory-ish, and is really the best hand cream Ive ever used. Since I finished P10P Ive had to buy myself a new tube of this, and I need to find the mini version to stick in my handbag as this takes up loads of space!

Project 10 Pan Progress...#4

First things first, I owe you all an explanation. Once upon a time I used to blog almost everyday, sometimes twice a day, now Im lucky if I post twice a week! Ive been rather busy as Im decorating/moving house at the minute, and quite frankly its left me tired and worn out so I cant be bothered to write. Also with the P10P Ive not been trying new things so Ive been rather uninspired, but Ive missed it so here I am!

If youve been reading my P10P posts you will know that I extended it to 20 products, and I have to say Ive been getting through things quite quickly, Im actually running low on a lot of things now, so Ill have to do a lot of stocking up when its over. So before this post I had used up 12 products, heres what Ive used up in the past few weeks.

I dont know why, but I love seeing a load of used up products, means I got my moneys worth I guess!

The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion
This basically does exactly what it says, it smells really fresh and is extremely cooling so I guess this would be good if you had an issue with hot and sweaty feet (yes, lovely topic of conversation). I used to slather this on thick and put socks on and leave it on overnight. I know socks in bed is bloody horrible, but because this is so cooling your feet dont get hot with them on. Ive had this bottle for literally years so I dont know if they even make it anymore!

Soap and Glory Off Your Face Cleansing Cloths
These are by a mile the best face wipes Ive ever used, and also the most expensive (I think one packet like this is usually around £5). I got this packet in a set at Christmas so I thought it was high time I used them up. They actually feel quite luxurious for a face wipe, the wipe itself has a nice texture to it, kind of bumpy, and some ingrdient in it means that if you scrub well enough it exfoliates as well as removing make-up. It also does a fantastic job of getting rid of waterproof mascara, which I dont find many wipes can get through painlessly. If I had plenty of spare cash I would buy these, but until then theyll have to stay as a treat for me!

Inecto Pure Coconut Hand and Nail Cream

I bought this on a whim for £1 in SemiChem thinking it would probably be rubbish. I had never heard of the brand, but as it happens Ive recently seen some hair treatments and masks from them in Superdrug now so maybe theyre becoming a more recognised brand? Anyway, coconut is my favourite smell so this instantly was a winner for me. I would switch this up with my S&G Hand Food and get similar results from it so that says how nice it is. Ill definately buy this again.

Anne Semonin Shower Gel
This was a random hotel shower gel from the Raddison in Edinburgh, but I thought I would start using up the millions of little bottles I have. This was pretty average as you would expect, nothing special and I dont even think you oculd buy it anywhere anyway.


So now Ive used up16/20 products...Cant wait for this to be done with now!

Barry M Dazzle Dust in Bronze(swatch at end of post)Ive been forcing myself to get more use out of my dazzle dusts as Ive always been lazy and put off using them because they can get a bit messy. However I think if youre careful and take your time they dont get everywhere as much as you would think, and the look it gives can really be worth it. Im not really into the crazy bright colours but this bronze colour gives a lovely extra something to my eye make-up and Ive been using it for nights out. Ive just been using my regular neutrals and browns and then putting this lightly over my whole eye look and it really gives it dimension and brightens it up. Im such a magpie for sparkle so Ive really been loving this recently.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Night CreamIve only had this for a few weeks but tis quickly became a favourite for me. Night creams Ive had in the pasthave felt thick and heavy and havent sunk in nicely. This is the opposite. It sinks in lovely but is still packed with moisture and I wake up in the morning with really soft skin. It smells realyl clean and fresh too, a must have for me now!

Barry M Nail Paint in Pink FlamingoEveryone knows by now how good Barry M nail polishes are so I neednt bang on about that, but Ive been wearing this colour literally all month on my fingers. I just love it. Sorry for how chipped my nails are in the photo!

ST Moriz Tanning Mousse in DarkFirstly, I dont get whats going on with the picture, because it came out fine until I put it on here? =/
This has now replaced my love of the original St Moriz. At first I was nervous to use it but I just went for it and loved it. I only have to do one coat of this rather than the 3 of the original to get my desired colour, which means it dries more evenly and quickly, looks way more natural with less chance of streaking and smudging, doesnt smell as strong and fades more evenly as it isnt such a thick coating. Over all a complete winner for me, Ill never go back to the original after using this

Avon Glazewear Shine lipgloss in Pink Watermelon(swatch at end of post)
These lipglosses are one of my favourites ever, they smell and taste lovely, last a while and arent gloopy. This colour in particular has bene one of my favourites over the summer, lovely an fresh and bright, gorgeous!

Mac Springsheen Blush(swatch at end of post)
This was possibly feautred in last months favourites post but it deserves its place this month too! Its a perfect peachy coral for summer, has a sheen to it similar to an MSF but not too glittery and Ive used it probably about 5 days of the week for the last month. I dont think this will change through August either, its just beautiful. I think blush may be one of my biggest weaknesses!

Haul: From My Dear Friend Who's Moving to MILAN.

Yes, a lovely family friend of mine is moving to Milan. In fact, she will be on the plane there as I type this. Im so so soooo jealous, but hopefully next sumer I will be taking a trip over there...free accomodation and tour guide, yes please! Anyhow she has literally got rid of everything she owns as she didnt want to take everything with her, so heres a few of the freebies I got, all completely unused...until i got my paws on them :)

Excuse my Mr Men cup of (dirty!) brushes in the background haha. Im really looking forward to reading the Audrey Hepburn book which is written by her son. I love her, and know Ill find it really interesting. Ive alreayd looked through at al the beautiful photos and cant wait to read it!

Also I got these little tea lights of oneof my favourite Yankee Candle scents for summer, clean cotton. So no doubt they wil all be burnt out pretty soon, now the make-up...

Jan reassured me that these were all unused and she had aquired them all pretty recently, so I wasnt going to shove ancient products on my skin so I gladly took them off her hands.

Ive never used any Gatineau products, but family members have told me its really good, and these are two 50ml tubes of the cleansing cream, but need to be used wet. It says its anti- aging which I dont suppose I need but Ill give them a go, they smell lovely and fresh too!

When I stayed at The Langdale with David last year, all the products in our room sand in the spa were Elemis products. I loved each and every product I used, they were in a different class from products I normally use, so luxurious and beautiful. So I was really excited to try this Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel. Again, its anti-aging, but it also exfoliates and is good for dul and tired skin, which mine has a tendency to look like this. Its packed with exotic fruit extracts and general good stuff for your skin such as Vit E, so Im looking forward to using it!

Then theres the little pot of The Body Shop's Vitamin E Night Cream. I already use the toner and the body lotion and its generally one of my favourite lines to use, and I have been needing a night cream too as Ive recently just been usng the same moisturiser day and night. I used this last night, it has the lovely smell that the whole range does, is thick but not too thick, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and velvety after application. This little tub will last ages, but I think I may have to buy it myself when this is done.

I was really excited to try the Smashbox products Jan gave me, as Ive never used their products before. The waterproof eyeshadow/liner is Starstuck I find to be a gorgeous dark taupey brown colour (swatches below). However Ive lost my thin liner brush, so Ive been using it more as a base/cream eyeshadow and it worked really well to create a dark smokey eye, its really gorgeous and long lasting!

The Smashbox Double Exposure Cheek and Lip colour in Speedracer is a fantastic creme blush. Its creamier than my Mac one, and goes on a dream, no patchiness at all. It a lovely natural colour, as if you have a hint of a tan across your cheeks and would go with any look. It looks more orangey in the swatch than it really is, its more brown toned, but really flattering, love it!

The Smashbox Eyeshadow in ASAP is right up my street. To me its like a cross between Mac's Woodwinked and Satin Taupe, which are both favourites of mine. Its really good quality too, comparable to my MAC or Urban Decay shadows.It gives a lovely finish and its just a fantastic addition to my collection.

The GOSH Effect Powder  in Apple Jam is just like a Barry M Dazzle Dust. I dont know how often Ill wear a lime green sparkley eye look, but you never know! It swatches really nice and Im such a magpie I can never resist sparkle. It looks kind of golden in some lights, like the swatch below...so its kind of more wearable than a pure lime green. I like it a lot.

The Rimmel Lasting Finish lipsticks and my all time favourite lipstick range. Thyere great quialty, smell amazing, really pigmented and dont dry out my lips. Oh, and theyre drugstore prices, yey! This colour (shown below) is 124 Bordeaux. Its way darker than I would ever pick up in the shop myself, but its actually gorgeous! Its a lovely deep red wine colour which will be so lovely for winter time. I dont have a deep red like this in my collection so Im glad to have this now, and in my favourite lipstick formula too!

Project 10 Pan Progress...#2

So I already did a post a few weeks ago having completely used up 2 products...and here Ive used up/thrown away 4 more. Firstly once again, sorry for my stupid camera.

Soap and Glory Breakfast Scrub - I got this at Christmas, used it ALOT and have only just finished it. Its my favourite scrub Ive ever tried, smells amazing and unlike any other product Ive came across. I will be repurchasing this after Ive used up all 10 products, until then Ill have to stick with Flake Away!

St Moriz Tanning Mousse - I have just finished this bottle. I love this tan and its basically the only one I buy, as I can get it in my town for £1.95 a bottle, and it lasts ages, and its just a fantastic product. Ive moved on to using the dark one and love that even more.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream - I dont know why Ive had ths little tub for so long, but I totally forgot about finishing this little tub up once I had bought the big bottle of it. Anyways I eventually used it all up, and I still have the huge bottle of body lotion too so I have no need to worry aboutbeing without my favourite body lotion :)

Avon Eyeshadow in Lagoon - Ive had this for years just siting in my collection. Ive always hated it, and barely ever used it. This gives off literally zero colour. Its meant to be half light green and half light pink (someone tell me why I ever even thought these would be good colours?). However, its so light it doesnt give off any colour at all, it just comes out as a pale powder, and not even one I could use as a white highlighter type shadow. Its jsut total rubbish, so I thought by finally just chucking it out I would count it in the P10P.

Now just a little evidence to show Ive used the products up...where I could show it anyway!

June Favourites

dfgfIts that time of the month again...where its all came to an end and I get to think about what Ive used a lot this month...It feels like onl last week I was doing my May Favourites, seriously I think times moving faster!

Firstly, as you can see and Ive said a million times, my camera just isnt playing nice anymore. Im in need of a new one, so if any of you have any recommendations for a good camera please let me know :)

Avon Supershock Mascara is my all time favourite mascara. I just opened a new tube this month and this reminded me how much I love it. Its perfect when brand new, which is good as I find most mascaras need to dry out a bit to be good enough which isnt good! It gives great volme and length, and is just lovely. I think its down to that crazy fat brush head. Iive become used to them now though and find it really easy to use. I cant see myself ever not having one in my collection.

MAC's Ravishing lipstick was a spur of the moment purchase, and it my favourite coral lipstick. Its so wearable for day to day and is so summery it makes me feel great when m wearing it. Its a cremesheen too so its really smooth and creamy. I dont feel the need to buy vegas volt or costa chic now I have this. This is by a mile my favourite summer/holiday lipstick!

MAC's Springsheen blush was an obvious choice after buying Ravishing. I needed a corally blush, and this one is perfect for a coral make-up look. Its a gorgeous subtle colour, easy to work with, or can be built up to be more intense. It has a gorgeous sheen to it that doesnt look too shimmery, kinda like if you brushed an MSF over your blush, that is the effect it gives. It means I rafrely have to use a highlight over the top which is nice. Again, one of my summer favourites and Ive used it almost every day this month.

Soap and Glory's Mist You Madly was something I wasnt expecting to love, but I added it to an order from ASOS on a whim. I have since used it daily. Its a gorgeous scent, Im no good at describing scents but this is gorgeous, quite light but also quite sensual. Ive had loads of compliments when Im wearing this and it lasts such a long time too which I wasnt expecting. Id quite like this in a smaller bottle to carry with me as this one is huge so I just use it before I leave the house. Otherwise though, is pretty amazing.

The Vitamin E Body Lotion from The Body Shop has been in my collection since my birthday in September, and yes Ive always liked it but recently Ive been using it loads. I find it nice to use instead of my body butters for mornings as it sinks in quite quickly and nicely which is good for when I need to get dressed and go out. I keep by butters for night time now and use this on mornings. It smells really clean and lovely and I wouldnt be without it now. I really like this and the Vitamin E Toner so I want to try some of their other Vitamin E products.

Ive worn Accessorize Aztec Nail Polish on my toes all month, and sometimes on my hands too. I love how it catches the sun when Im sunbathing and really suits the toes in the summer I think. Ive done a NOTD with it before which says a lot as I only ever do those when I really love my polish. I love the holographic effect of it, my little cousin was staring at it the other day on my toes and found it hilarious that different ways she stood she could see green, then pink, then purple, then gold...its really lovely.

Ive always loved Benefit's High Beam, Ive used my friends and families when Ive been at their place before nights out, and always wanted it but never wanted to part with my money when I always had other highlighter type products. I got this mini one in Glamour last month and Im so glad I did. Its raved about a lot and for good reason, it gives a gorgeous luminosity to the cheekbones, or anywhere you may wish to create a glowy highlight. You need the tiniest drop too and even this little bottle will last me ages. I use it every day now, its amazing.

My Nightly Facial Routine

I dont know about any of you guys but this whoel blogger breaking thing has left me so confused, posts that were put up last week are now being re-put up as part of them fixing it so my blog rolls all mixed up, AND I spent hours on Thursday making about 7 new pages to put at the top of my blog for you guys and now theyre gone :( Just hope they retunr by magic as I put loads of effort into them.

...Anyway! I decided it might be a nice idea to show you how I take care of ym skin at night before I go off to the land of dreams. Its not by any mean a perfect routine, and I know I will find better products int eh future, but Im on a tight budget and these leave my skin feeling clean ad fresh and make-up free, which is really my aim when Im too tired to move to go to the sink!

Cleansing Wipes
These are a bad example as they arent really my favourites, they were just cheap! I love he Off Your Face ones from S&G and suprisingly the Primark ones are really good too. I just use face wipes to get the bulk of my make-up off at first before continuing with the rest of my routine. I cant let myself jsut stop at this step because I jsut dont feel like Im fully rid of my make-up.

Cleanser with Cotton Wool Pad
I just use a milky cleaser like this as it means lazy me doesnt haveto go to th bathroom, fill the sink and clip my hair back, but when I finaly invest in the Liz Earle Cleanser then I will be so much more motivated to be less lazy! At the minute I use this Garnier SImple Essentials one, its really basic but it smells fresh and leaves your skin feeling lovely and clean but soft at the same time, I really liek it considering it was less than £3.00.

Toner & Cotton Wool Pad
I think toner is an essential step in facial care that too many miss out. It takes all of the excess cleanser off, as well as any final unmissed make-up and dirt. I know it does all sorts of technical stuff but I really like this for just rounding up the cleaning stage of my routine as it feels nice and cooling and smells nice. I find this Body Shop Vitamin E one doesnt dry your skin out or make it feel tight like others can and its just lovely.

Eye Cream
I use this is the morning as well as at night now, its the Avon Botanicals one, and is the first eye cream Ive owned. I ant to look after the delicate skin around my eye area as much as possible to try and avoid crows feet and wrinkles as long as possible (yes I know Im 19, but you can never start too early, right?). Also this is just a really nice moisturiser for my eye area too, and smells so fresh and is really cooling. I jsut feel like Im doing my skin some good with this. However it might be a really rubbish eye cream compared to others as Ive never tried any apart from this, even though I do really like it. If you have any recommendations for me to try please leave them below :)

Moisturiser

Depending on how dry my skin feels and what kind of mood Im in I will switch up my night time moisturiser. Personally I dont think theClinique Dramatically Different Lotion is as amazingly moisturising as is said about it, I find it to be the lgihtest moisturiser I own. I tend to choose this one when I want a lighter lotion especially in the summer time. The good old Nivea Cream is my go to option when my skin feels really tight and dry and this gives is such a big serving of pure moisture. I love how thick it is and you only need a tiny bit so it lasts forever, and I particularly like this in the winter time. I cant go without moisturiser, and these are jsut my choices at night time not for through the day and the Clinique is too light, and the Nivea takes a while to dry and leaves a creamy sheen which is only acceptable for bed time!

Brows

I had never considered doing anything to my eyebrows before bed until I bought this ELF Eyebrow Treat and Tame. Now I use the "treat" side every night before I go to bed, I think its meant to promote growth or something, and psychologically it makes me feel like Im doing them some good somehow. Ive only had it about a week so I cant commetn on if its actually done anything or not yet, but I do like it. It sinks in quite nicely and doesnt sit like a horrible gel on your lashes like I thought it might, so Im happy to contine using it. I also LOVE the tame side for through the day, really fantastic.

Lip Balm

I cant go to sleep without applying a good thick lip balm first. This basic Nivea one is my lip balm of choice at the minute. I love to slather them on thick for through the night which probably looks horrible and isnt something you would want to walk around in the day time sporting on your lips. So this is a must for night time to get my lips silky smooth for lipstick through the day. I do have quite a selection, and use Carmex through the day, but again any recommendation would be fantastic :D
