Lustlist #20

My 21st birthday is currently 53 days away. Yes, Im one of those people that plans their birthday MONTHS in advance. Since my holidays have left me a little (a lot) skint, Im channelling any of the things I want ever so much onto a birthday wishlist... Im pretty sure this will grow and grow in the next 53 days, and none of my friends or family read this anyway, but a girl can dream!...

The Glamglow mask is something I've been wanting to try for ages now. A celebrity favourite that Ive pondered over for so long because of the price, but really want to give it a go!

The scalloped edge vest is very Topshop 2010/11, but its cheaper and would go with a million things. Its also rather pretty I think.

Im pretty intrigued by the new Bare Minerals Ready range, as I've never been into the brand before as loose powders are just too messy for me. I've heard good things about these eyeshadows so Id love to try them.

Im going to be needing some nice birthday outfits as so far I know of 4 separate birthday celebrations (the joys of having divorced parents and therefore separate celebrations)! This dress looks so pretty and perfect for a family party, but probably one Id have to try on as golden colours can often wash me out pretty badly.

These ballet flats are right up my street, I love anything two-toned and shiny like these, I'm like a magpie.

This city landscape dress looks pretty perfect for my birthday night out in Newcastle with the girls, something a little different but not too tarty with the higher neckline, love it!

This galaxy print sweater looks so cosy, and the perfect nod to the recent cosmic print trend. I love the current trend but don't want to spend a fortune on leggings and such that I wont wear much, where as I think this jumper could last a little longer and Id wear it much more.

Lustlist #19

After the few days of summer weather we had in the UK last week, it had me lusting after a new summer wardrobe for my holidays, as well as for the summer here (fingers crossed its a good one this year). However Im currently sat in my room, its snowing outside and a tile jsut flew off my roof. So the tan lines I achieved last week are fading by the second. The things Im lusting after may just have to wait for the Ibiza sun!

I didnt even realise how many things Ive been loving have been corally colours, but clearly thats what Ive been drawn to recently!
All links are in the item descriptions.

I cant wait to be wearing bright summery clothes after the little taster of it last week. Just need this snow to go away now!

Lustlist...#18

I havent actually done a lustlist post since JULY. So thought it was high time I did a new one as theres a lot of things Ive got my eye on but cant get yet because of my spending ban. Ive only put a few of my very favourites here, the list is extensive of all the stuff I want but dont really need. If anyone fancies buying me any of these the feel free (hint hint David, Valentines Day is in a few days!)

Click names for links!
The only maxi dress I own is cream with a massive floral print, really only holiday appropriate. I think this black one is stunning and its really affordable too which suprised me.

These would be perfect for Ibiza, Im thinking ahead to summer already, cannot wait! I never wear high waisted anything but I could make an exception for these.

Im just continuing my obsession with glitter nail polish. This one looks quite unique as it has smaller and bigger glitter bits. Oh, and its pink and very, very pretty!

I think this is a very classic, timeless dress. Me and David are having our Valentines in a few weeks insted of Tuesday when were going to Manchester for a few days, this would be perfect to wear for a lovely meal out. I love red dresses but only have one and think this would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe.

I want to add more blouses to my wardorbe as I only have two and really think theyre flattering and would like more. The colour of this one is gorgeous, I need it!

I think this set is fantastic value for money and Id love to recieve it as a gift but doubt Ill buy it myself as I need to keep to my non make-up buying ban. It contains an eyeshadow in Fathom, a blush/bronzer duo in Orgasm/Laguna, an eyeshadow primer and a lipgloss in Spring Break. The more I write about it te more I want it!

Im a massive Disney freak and love printed t-shirts for summer and feel this is a cool, liadbck way of incorporating my Disney obsession into my clothes without looking to childish.

Haul: Miss Selfridge, New Look and Primark.

Saying as Im on Project 10 Pan Ive been spending my spare pennies on clothes rather than make-up, which was the ain of P10P saying as my wardrobe is rather dismal. Along with the stuff I got in the RI sale, heres a few things Ive collected over the past few weeks...

I know, Im ridiculous, but at the time I thought this was an easy way to show you two bikinis at once which are the same, but a different colour, looks pretty stupid now. However, these were a bargain from Primarkat only £6 for each set. Theyre more of a bra style rather than a halter neck, and theyre quite padded and clip at the back rather than tie so they give realyl good support. Sometimes I feel more vulnerable in little string bikinis and these are definately the kind I would feel more comfortable bombing inthe pool with my brother on our famiyl holiday without having to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions!

I love this crochet design, and had seen more expensive versions in next and Miss Selfridge that I loved but couldnt really afford. So I snapped this up in Primark when I seen it. The bottoms were £3 and the top was £5, so another steal! I like the little bead detail, and its little gems like this that are worth a visit to Primark as they look way nicer than you woul expect for a bikini for £8 in total. Im so glad I waited and didnt buy the £25 version from Next now!

Normally I hate New Look sales, even more so than other stores. They just never seem to ever hav anything decent. I sene this hanging in the sale rails though and really liked it, and for £6 I thought it was such a bargain, especially as it comes with a lovely tan belt. I orignally thought it would be good to wear as a little t-shirt dress on holiday, but once i tired it one its WAY too short for that, bum cheeks on show is a no go! So Im just going to wear this with leggings, meaning its great for autumn too. Its an empire line cut too so its really flattering and hides any food babys ;).

This little beauties are my favourite purchase for summer, and they were kind of a little treat to myself. I kept looking at them on the Miss Selfridge website for weeks and weeks and reaaaaaally wanted them. But the £35 price tag put me off. So when I came into a litle spare cash, and Miss Selfridge had a free shipping code, and my bestie gave me a cheeky text with her NUS code for 10% discount I jumped at the change and just ordered them. I love the frayed detail and the worn look of them, especially the gold stud detail underneath the frayed bits, lovely detail!

How gorgeous is that! Especially when they catch the light in the sun. I jsu tlove that theyre kind of original, but my god these literally are hot pants. By that I mean theres often a little teensy bit of butt cheek on show, which I would rather wasnt to be honest! But hey, it just means I have to hammer the zumba to rock the Beyonce bum look with these babies!

Hows everyone doing anyways? Feels like ages since I talked to anyone on here.

Lust List...#17

My attention has been mostly focsued on the sales going on at the minute in stores. Particularly River Island, which forced me to spend more than I should have...but a post is to come on that! Now the sales ahve all started and the hype is kind of over for me, I turned my attention to the "New In" sections of the websites. Its full of loads of gorgeous autmny clothes, and I know ts still summer but I always find clothes more exciting for winter, simply because I tend to wear more clothes in winter! So without furthre ado, heres a few "New In" items Ive found that I love and want, even if some may not be suitable for the height of summer.

Haul: Miss Selfridge/ OOTE: Good Friday

A bit of a late post, but bettr late than never!

This post is essentially about the same dress so I thought I could just roll it into one. About a week ago I needed a new dress for Good Friday. Where I live Good Friday is the biggest night out of the year, so one wants to look their best right? I found this dress at Miss Selfridge and had to have it...

Its bodycon but its made so theres room for hips, which is good for those that have them, but I dont so these kind of gaped on me but it was unnoticable if I pulled the dress down a bit, and in the darkness of the clubs nobody wouldsee anyway. This was £32 and I love it, and cant wait to wear it again. I especially love that its not just a palin vest dress, the wavy detailing on it is really interesting and different to most other dresses in the shops and its right up my street.

Heres what it looked like on the night, I didnt get a proper picture of it but you can see from these how it looked...
I wore it with some black heels and a black bag, pretty boring I know but I thought I would let the dress speak for itself.

I also got my eye on these bangles in the sale at Miss Selfridge for £3, bargain! Theyrre all interlinked so they dont come apart which is great, theyre so nice and I can see myself wearing them a lot.

Just a short post, hope you liked it and had a lovely Good Friday yourself

FOTD/OOTD...Mothers Day

Today I went out for lunch with my Mam and the family to celebrate Mothers Day, we had a lovely relaxing time despite the awful service where we went for food, but we enjoyed it anyway, heres how I did my hair and make up...

I took these pictures when I came home from lunch so it may not appear as fresh as when it was first applied but hey ho....also I did try to take photos of my eyes properly but my camera is dying as Ive said before and it kept completely whiting out the photos.

Face:
soap and glory birght here bright now energy balm
MAC studio fix fluid foundation in NW15
benefit dallas blush
MAC by candlelight MSF as highlight
MAC MSF natural in medium to set
ELF complexion perfection powder

Eyes:
ELF eyelid primer
MAC vintage selection paint pot
MAC all that glitters e/s over lid
MAC satin taupe e/s in crease
ELF matte white e/s to highlight brows and inner corner
rimmel blonde eyebrow pencil in brows
Eyeko black graffiti liner on lid
Avon supershock liner in waterline
Avon supershock mascara
Eyeko big eyes mascara
Maxfactor false lash effect waterproof mascara

Lips:
Body shop lip balm
MAC shy girl lipstick
MAC big baby plushglass

I wore:

Blouse: Lipsy
Black cami: New look
Tube skirt: New look
Tights: M&S
Shoes: Miss Selfridge

I love these shoes theyre really cute and comfy and can be dressed up or down really easily. I lvoe soft material flats like there that kind of curl up and have elastic around the tops to keep them on, I find they hug yur feet better and dont slip on a off liek normal flats which can often give me blisters. I always opt for this style over the proper flat bottomed shoes.
