Lustlist #19

After the few days of summer weather we had in the UK last week, it had me lusting after a new summer wardrobe for my holidays, as well as for the summer here (fingers crossed its a good one this year). However Im currently sat in my room, its snowing outside and a tile jsut flew off my roof. So the tan lines I achieved last week are fading by the second. The things Im lusting after may just have to wait for the Ibiza sun!

I didnt even realise how many things Ive been loving have been corally colours, but clearly thats what Ive been drawn to recently!
All links are in the item descriptions.

I cant wait to be wearing bright summery clothes after the little taster of it last week. Just need this snow to go away now!

Five Good Things For Friday

1. It is my best (boy) friend Joe's 21st birthday party tonight and Im so excited...even though its decided to p*ss down all day, fingers crossed I wont look like a drowned rat tonight!

(Me looking shattered and drunk, joe with a swollen face because of some wierd infection...lovely pair)

2. The best thing of the week by far was going with Davids mam to pick out the puppies theyre family are getting for Christmas...seriously they could fit in one hand they were so teensy! We picked out two girls and theyre gorgeous, and I cant wait for David to see them...

3. I  bought Cosmopolitan magazine yesterday and it came with a free pair of Eyelure false eyelashes which Im going to attempt to wear tonight. I never buy them normally because Im useless at putting them on, make a huge mess and flush them down the toilet in rage...but saying as these ones were free Im willing to give them another go :)

4. Ive just bought these two dresses and I LOVE them...

Asos - £40

 Missguided £15

5. 49 Sleeps until Christmas!!
Yes...Im counting already

Collective Fashion Hauling

Over the past few weeks Ive bought clothes in excess. Afterall, I have just started Uni and wanted to stock up for some new autmn-y clothes, along with some outfit ideas for upcoming birthday parties/engagement parties. along with my holiday to Lanzarote in 10 days (super excited). Anyway heres some of the more vaguely interesting things Ive been "investing in"...

Missguided - I think they were about £25-£30 (I dont have the receipts/tags for most things)
How gorgeous are these, just had to have them. Theyre dead comfy too because of the platform and the thicker heel so I want them in the other beautiful colours too.

Primark Shorts - £14
What a bargain! You would see something similar in Topshop for at least £30. I love that they come with the little belt, and they fit really nicely, so flattering. I cant wait to wear them with a little vest on holiday, and layer them up with tights and boots in the winter.

New Look Shoe Boots - £25
I got these for £20 with student discount, bargain! Theyre so comfy and great for wearing through the day. I wore them for Uni today and my feet didnt hurt at all. Loveee!

Missguided Skirt- around £10
Id seen more expensive versions of this in Miss Selfridge so was glad to find this one for a tenner. Sorry Im wearing it in the photo haha. Its soooo soft and cosy, proper Christmassy too.

Miso Dress from Republic - £25
I love these skater dresses and think theyre perfect for winter because the material is to thick and warm. Ill wear this through the day with a leather jacket and tights and boots, or for nights out with sky high wedges. I love versatile pieces like this :)

Missguided- bout £15
This is a teeny bit tight, but once I get to the gym Ill be fine! Ive liked the idea of mesh panelling on dresses before but think it can sometimes look slightly tacky and cheap. I like the placement of the lace band and think its a nice way of incorporating the trend.

 Primark - £10
So you could most definately find something very similar in Topshop for at least £40. This is fab wualitiy as well, its reasons like this that remind me why I like Primark.

Bank - £8
I got this on sale, which Im so glad about because I nearly bought it for full price around March. Its such a comfy daytime dress for winter, perfect for Uni.

Bank - £20
This dress is much nicer in real life, the patterned part is kind of baggy and gathers under the bust, and the black bit is bodycon. Its perfect for nights in Lanzarote.

 New Look - about £10
This photo is crap but its here anyway! I lvoe these dresses, such a bargain. Another one I could dress down for day or dress up for night. A great affordable wear to channel the velvet trend which I love. The other colours are gorgeous too.

New Look - £25
I dont know why I havent owned a denim jacket before (well not since I was about 5 anyway). I think its because Im so picky and never found the perfect one. I bought this randomly, spur of the moment and just took it straight to the counter without examining it. Ive worn it most days since then and Im suprised by how warm and comfortable it is.
New Look - about £27
Theres something about chunky oversized knits that I love, one of my favourite parts of winter. This one is gorgeous, I love the flecks of black wool throughout the red as well, so cosy and wintery! Be careful though and dont go for the size up as they are made to be baggy so the small on me fits in an oversized way anyway, if that makes any sense. Basically you dont need to buy a size bigger for it to be baggy!

ASOS - About £30
I needed a giant bag for carrying files in to uni, and this is just perfect for that. I call it my Mary Poppins bag, because she has a carpet bag like this and little Michael asks why she would want a bag for carpets (good old disney films). She fits everything in there, and I fit everything, ever in this. Its seriously like a bottomless pit. Its my new love and I wouldnt hae anywhere for all my crap anymore if it wasnt in my life.

Primark - About £10
I wanted a little satchel style bag for days when Im not lugging around half of my belongings and this one is perfect. I like that its green rather than black or brown too.

Dorothy Perkins
Tights- £10
I wanted some cable knit tights for the winter time and these are just what I wanted, cant wait to wear them.
Hair clips - £1 per set
Such a bargain! If I had bought these two sets full price it would have cost me £12...steal!
Bow Ring  £2
My mam has already bought me this a while about in a size medium and had taken the packaging apart and everything and its just a wee bit too big but I didnt have the heart to tell her. At £2 I can now actually wear this one and she wont know any different :) hehe

Congrats if you got this far, sorry theres so many pictures!

Lust List...#17

My attention has been mostly focsued on the sales going on at the minute in stores. Particularly River Island, which forced me to spend more than I should have...but a post is to come on that! Now the sales ahve all started and the hype is kind of over for me, I turned my attention to the "New In" sections of the websites. Its full of loads of gorgeous autmny clothes, and I know ts still summer but I always find clothes more exciting for winter, simply because I tend to wear more clothes in winter! So without furthre ado, heres a few "New In" items Ive found that I love and want, even if some may not be suitable for the height of summer.

SASSY Camel Court Shoe
Sassy Camel Court Shoe
£40.00
Miss Selfridge
I think these court shoes are so classic and would go with everything! So gorgeous!

Tan Pushlock Bag

£35.00
Miss Selfridge
I just love everything about this bag, right up my street and I would use it loads.

Black Bandeau Bodysuit
Balck Bandeau Bodysuit
£22.00
Miss Selfrige
This is the same wavey design as a blue dress I got form there recently which I cant get enough of. I dont have a black bandeua top and I think this would be really useful for wearing with loads of different skirts or shorts, or even palazzo pants. I think its a nice twist so its not just plain black.

Black Ballet Skirt
Black Ballet Skirt
£26.00
Miss Selfridge
Its black, which means I would get load sof use of this for a start. Plus its so cute and floaty, I love floaty girly items, and this coudl easily be dressed up or dressed down.

Nude Shirt Bodysuit
Nude Shirt Bodysuit
£25.00
Miss Selfridge
I really like these kind of bodysuits, its so much easier than tucking a shirt in and it stays put all day. Really convenient and useful.

Petites Nude Mesh Cutout Dress
Nude Mesh Cutout Dress
£45.00
Miss Selfridge
Im reallyinto the whole ballet trend going on, its so cute and girly and a good excuse to twirl around in a pretty dress. This puts a nice spin on it and I REAAAALLY want this for to wear on my birthday night out, which is in September but Im thinking well ahead!

Cream Aran Swing Jumper
£35.00
River Island
I probably could gt my grandma to kint me this for free, but I love aran knits for winter and this would be a staple for me this winter.

Dark Green Peep Toe Sling Back Shoes
£60.00
River Island
Wowza! I think these are stunning, howevcer I jsut know they would completely butcher my feet. I think I could live with that though...

Cristina 3/4 Sleeve Lace Pleat Dress In Burnt Orange
Cristina 3/4 Sleeve Lace Pleat Dress in Burnt Orange
£26.99
Missguided
I dont have an orangey dress, and have never wanted one, until I fell in love with this one. It would look so good with a tan!

Crystalia Draped Effect Bodycon Dress In Red
Crystalia Draped Effect Bodycon Dress in Red
£29.99

On second thought, I want this dress for my birthday, and the other one for my birthday meal :)

Haul: Republic and Missguided

Ive been on the hunt for a new outfit for Davids birthday night out, and I made a few purchases that arrived in the post yesterday, some huge successes, some not so much...

Firstly from Missguided I saw these wedges and had to have them. Although I was a little nervous of how large they were, especially the platform. But once I tried them on they are honestl the most comfortable heels EVER, like even more comfy than some flats I own. Theyre realyl cushioned on the heels and balls of the feet, and I think jsut the angle the foot is at is really comfy too. I know Ill be ale to dance all night in these :), and theyre only £30 from mussguided.com

I bought this dress in the sale, as it looked pretty on the model and was only £13, however its so tacky and cheap looking in real life, dead comfortable and flattering but it jsut doesnt suit me, and its really my kind of thing so its gonig back!

I found it practically impossible to take a remotely nice photo of this dress, its just a plain black maxi dress, but its really nice on and will go with a million accessories and shoes, it was only about £12, and I think Im gunna bu it in the other colours too.

This playsuit was the item I ordered from Republic from their sale for £10. It looks rubbish in the photo but its so comfortable and flattering, and I love the print of it. I think this is something Ill wear again and again, and your bound to see and oufit post with this.

Currently Loving...#2

Changed The Way You Kissed Me - Example
When this is released I feel it may be one of the songs of the summer, love it already! Its been my favourite song to get me motivated to do my work, but it usually makes me jsut want to be out having a good time.

Leaving College
Yes I go on about this a LOT, but I have three days left then I leave the hell hole for good, never been so excited!

Barry M's Pink Flamingo Polish
It looks Barbie pin in daylight, and more corally at ngiht times, which I kinda like. Its just the perfect bright pink without looking too bright and tacky. Currently wearing it on my fingers and toes, perfect for the summer time

Buying nice aftershave as a present for Davids birthday
He feels good about himself, and I get to sniff the beuaitufl scent whenever I like, win win situation. Ive bought him the male version of Hugo Boss Orange, the one with Orlando Bloom in the advert, which basically sold it to me straight away.

Wearing less make-up
Never thought I;d say this but Ive been wearing a lot less makeup recently. Ive been a bit of a hermit for about a month, having so much college work to do Ive either been at home, at college, in the library or asleep...so I have only been using blush, MSF Natural, brown eyeliner and one coat of mascara. I think its done my skin the world of good a nd its much easier to remove at night time! MSF Natural give the tiniest bit of coverage to just make your skin look a little fresher, and less oily and its a must in my make-up routine, even the most minimalist of days.

Ordering online
Currently got three outfits in the post for me to choose from for Davids birthday celebrations, I thought I would treat myself for the occasion and cant wait for them to arrive. Hope theyre all nice though, I hate it when things come an they arent as you expected. I ordered from Missguided two dresses an some wedges, and found a gorgeous playsuit in the Republic sale for only £10, bargain!

Donuts.
Yes, Ive been obsessed. I dont care right now how bad they are for me, theyre my cravings through my time of stress and have been my favourite indulgence saying as I havent bene really going anywhere. Anything from Krispie Kreme will do nicely :)

3. I cant believe I didnt remember to put this first. My Dad suprised me with tickets to see Take That next weekend. Im so excited beyond belief! I seen them o their circus tour 2 years ago and it was absolutely AMAZING. The perfect end to college forever! :)

4. Davids birthday is just around the corner and of course a big bunch of us are celebrating with a night out in town. Ive just placed an order on Missguided for some ridiculously huge wedges and two dresses so I can take my pick, haul post when they arrive!

5. Ive fell in love with MAC's Viva Glam Gaga again, the first one. Ive been using it every single day, and I really need to hold back with it a bit because I never got a back-up of it :(
