Avon Ideal Flawless Foundation

Its not often I do a foundation review, I like to use them for ages before constructing a proper opinion, and by then I forget to review it. This time its only taken me a few months to decide what I think of this foundation.
Most of the time the foundations I prefer are light/medium coverage with a dewy finish, I actually opt for Origins Vitazing most days instead of a foundation.
I rarely ever reach for my Revlon Colorstay or MAC Studio Fix Fluid anymore, which is why I was so suprised to actually love this foundation from Avon.

Firstly, I love that its relatively cheap, but still comes in lovely glass bottle with a pump included. You can get it for £12 on the Avon website, but if you look out in the brochures theres nearly always a deal on...I got my particulat bottle for just £8! Bargain.

Of course one of the downsides of Avon is that you cant see the shades in person before you buy, so its a little bit of guess work. I personally dont mind this as I usually just pick the lightest, or second lightest shade and that usually works fine for me, but I could see how it could be an issue for some. For reference Im the colour Ivory and its the best colour match Ive ever had in a foundation. Their colour selection is amazing, much better than most brands so I would say its a great one to check out if you struggle to find shades pale enough or dark enough for you.

As far as the product is concerned, its medium coverage I would say, but doesnt feel at all heavy on a skin. One pump is a tiny amount but spreads well enough to cover my whole face perfectly. It could of course be built up to a heavier coverage if you prefer. I find this goes on a dream, so quick and easy with my Sigma F80 brush. I really want to try the Real Techniques Buffing brush as I think that would be amazing for it also.

It has an average lasting power I would say, but any foundation Ive tried starts to wear off around the chin and nose area for me towards the end of the day, so this is pretty much standard. It has SPF 15, and so far Ive had no problems with flashback in photos!

You can see how good if a colour match this is for me, as on the right of this photo its blended into the skin seamlessly, it really lives up to its claims of "invisible coverage" I think. Im not too sure how this would apply on drier skin types however, as when I did have a small dry patch it tended to cling to it a little so that may be something to think about.

I do really like this foundation, but it doesnt beat Jemma Kidd Light As Air for me. It is nice though for days when I want a slightly heavier coverage and not so dewy look. Id definately recommend it, especially for the price!

FOTD: Avon Ideal Flawless Foundation

I havet posted a FOTD for so long, mainly because my camera is rubbish in nautral light so you only ever get flash photos. However I wanted to see how this new foundation wrks out with flash photos. So heres the results and what Im wearing. Even managed to get  half decent natural light photo of my eyes! This isnt a full review just yet, just an excuse for a FOTD!

As you can see its a wee bit shiney, but I dont mind that as I usually set with a powder anyways which would get rid of that!

Face:
MeMeMe Seventh Heaven Primer
Avon Ideal Flawless Foundation in Ivory
Natural Collection Blush in Pink Cloud
Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme in Iced Gold
A spritz of MAC Fix+

Not too much flashback either which is good saying as it contains SPF 15!

Lips:
Avon Mega Impact Lipstick in Charged Cherry

Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Avon Blonde Perfect Eyebrows Pencil
Natural Collection Eyeshadow in Willow
Smashbox Eyeshadow in ASAP
Loreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss

March Empties

I havent done one of these posts for a while, I was getting through ssome products but either forgot to take a photo before throwing it away or it was just pretty boring. Luckily I remembered this month! So heres everything Ive finished up in March...

Avon Foot Works Cherry Ice Moisturising Lotion
Basically a cherry scented foot cream. Its really reeeeally runny and becaus of that I felt it didnt really do a whole lot for my feet, but Ive used it up now so thats fine. I wouldnt really buy it again though.

Soap and Glory Girligo Moisturising Mist
I love this so much, I must have about three bottles of the stuff. Its a moisturising spray which smells amazing, the same scent of most of the Soap and Glory range. It a really good option if you want a bit of moisture but dont want to wait around for a body butter to soak in, this dries really qucik but leaves you feelin lovely and smooth and smelling great.

Tresemme Instant Fresh Dry Shampoo
Im actually not a huge fan of this. I didnt find it did very muc for my hair and I had to use a ot of product before it seemed to freshen my hair at all. After a few hours my hair looked just the same as it did before I applied it. I really dont understand why so many people love this, I think Ill be sticking to my trusty Batiste!

Kleenex Extra Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes
Definately one of the best face wipes Ive ever tried. It doesnt leave a sheeny film on your skin like most do, and the texture of the wipes is really soft and lovely on the skin, it didnt irriate mine at all even my eyes. I'll be buying more of these and highly recommend them.

Rituals Fujiama Foaming Shower Gel
One of the best products Ive ever had from a Glossybox. I was gutted to run out of this, but the bottle did last me absolutely ages. A really luxurious yet fresh way of getting clean. Ive since bought a number of other foaming washes and theyre all pretty similar but much cheaper, I just really like the concept of them.

John Frieder Go Blonder Lightening Spray
You know you love a product when you buy a backup before you even finish the last one, and thats what I done with this. It has worked wonders for my hair and has really imprved the colour of it without the need for an expensive visit to the hairdressers for highlights. Ive raved on about it loads over the past few months so Ill spare you it now, but its just really nice.

The Body Shop Mango Body Butter
This is one of my favourite scents of these body butters, it mells like the Munch Bunch yoghurts I used to eat when I was little. Everyone knows how good these are, and Ill definately be buying more, so yummy.

I also finished the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, but forgot to take a photo oops! Everyone knows its blummin amazing anyway

NOTD...Coral Sands

I havent done a NOTD post in ages so when I loved how my polish loked this morning I quickly took a few photos. Its so hard to get my camera to make the colours look like they do in real life but this phto got it just right.

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous in the UK over the past few days, Ive even been starting off my tan! So I found myself reaching for more spring time peachy colours than I have been in the colder months. Todays polish of choice is a bottle Ive had for literally about 4 years, and its only just turning to the gloopy side. Its Coral Sands from Avon and I absolutely love it. Its hard to tell in photos but its got a lovely goldy shimmer to it thats really pretty in the sun and is why I choose this polish over the typical flat creamy peach shades. This is how it looks after two coats.

I used Sally Hansens Intra-Dri topcoat over the top which I love so much, couldnt be without it.

Sorry this is a quick little post, Im snowed under with uni work at the minute but as soon as it over Im all yours! ;) Haha. Whats your favourite spring nail polish?

Valentines NOTD AND What Makeup I'll Be Wearing

Im not one of those girls who loves all the cheesy side to Valentines Day. No teddies or chocolates thanks very much! But I do love a day just dedicated to spending time with David and appreciating each other. Of course I think this should happen all year round too, but I do like to make a little bit of an effort come 14th of Feb, any reason to celebrate and make a change from day to day life is fine by me!

I saw it as the perfect time to try out my new Justin Bieber polish called Step To The Beat Of My Heart which is by Nicole by OPI. I didnt buy it just because it was by Justin Bieber mind, but because it is so girly and cute and very unique. I used Barry M's Strawberry Ice Cream as my basecoat (also really gorgeous just on its own, it looked so good I was debating whether or not to even put the hearts on top)...

And this is how it turned out! It took a lot of time and patience to get the hearts out of the bottle and into position on my nails. You kind of have to scoop them out of the bottle with the brush and dot them onto the nails then move them a little bit, but I think it all worked out lovely in the end. Sorry for the bad flash photo but its night time and I really wanted to show you now before Valentines is over. Of course Ill also be using this polish through the rest of the year, its too pretty not to!

Im going to be going very much for pinks tomorrow. I was debating on a red lip but feel pinks will match my polish more and will be more day-time appropriate. So heres some of what I plan to wear...

MAC's Dollymix Blush - Such a stunning sparkly bright pink. The photo doesnt do it justice at all but its just perfection.

Dior Addict Lipstick in Diorkiss - One of my absolute favourites, a lovely way to wear bright pink through the day as its still pigmented and long wearing but also relatively sheer. Not to mention using it makes me feel a little bit grown up and special.

Avon Glazewear Shine Lipgloss in Pink Watermelon - I just chose this as it compliments the lipstick perfectly and its a lovely gloss as are all the Avon ones Ive tried, worth a look if you havent already!

Of course Ill be wearing other make-up, foundation etc. But I just wanted to share these with you as I thought they were perfect for Valentines. Ill be wearing them with a simple light eyeshadow like All That Glitters with a flick of gel liner, simple and classic.

Hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow whether youre pampering yourself or spending it with a loved one!

Make-Up I Keep At My Boyfriends House

I realise this is a strange title for a post, but I thought it may be helpful to some, so hear me out. Like many couples our age, me and my boyfriend both still live with our parents. Most nights one of of stays over at the others house. This has led to me acquiring my own drawer in his room, and so I have filled it ith a few neccesities so I dont have to carry my whole life with me everytime I stay over. It makes life so muc easier if you can get your boy to scarifice a little space for you to keep some things, that way you dont need to carry a huge bag everytime you go.

I dont have the money to have two lots of everything in my make-up collection so I just keep some basics there, and some cheaper alternatives. I keep things there that I know I can rely on and I can wear everyday just to put on quickly, as I know ow much men hate women taking ages to get ready!

ELF Blush and Bronzer Duo - Ive had this for absolutely ages as you can tell by how well loved it is. This is the only blush or bronzer I have there and find the blush matches any make-up look I fancy, and its one of my absolute favourites so its always gunna work for me. The bronzer is also great for a light dusting of warmth to the face which I sometimes really need.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - This is possibly my all time favourite foundation, in close competition with Jemma Kidd Light as Air, but I cant afford to keep two of thse, so I keep this at Davids. Ive raved about it many a time an can always be relied on to make your skin look fresh.

Revlon Colorstay - I keep a heavier foundation such as this one there too for days I really feel I need a heavier coverage. Ive kept this there since I bought it and nearly always opt for Healthy Mix so I havent tried it out properly, but so far I think I like it!

Avon Magix Illuminator - I keep this there to use it up as it isnt realy my favourite for under my eyes, but its ok. Ill be buying another Collection 2000 Last Perfection Concealer to replace it once this runs out as its so much better.

Nivea Lip Balm - Always need this there a his room is so cold and I get really chapped lips through the night if I dont!

ELF Eyelid Primer - This is my favourite, and also so so cheap so I can afford to keep one there. Id recommend this to anyone, your eyeshadow wont budge!

Maybelliene Gel Liner - I got this for Christmas when I already had it and loved it, so this new pot made its way to Davids, which is great because Im using it every day at the minute.

Smashbox Eyeshadow in ASAP - I only keep two eyeshadow there which I find is just enough and I like the look this brown colour gives in the crease, amazing quality too.

No7 Eyeshadow in Starry Lights - This is the perfect brightening all over lid colour. I'd be happy to wear this any day of the week so its great to keep there as I know I love it and will always happily wear it.

Avon Supershock Mascaras - I keep these there as theyre my favourite mascara, and Im trying to use up the waterproof one as I cant stand waterproof mascara so Im getting use out of it for a while here.

Elf Eyebrow Treat and Tame - ELF products are great when you love them because they are s inexpensive I just bought another one of these to keep at Davids. A great colored lash gel that gives definition as well as holding them in place, no stray hairs here!

Eyeko Graffiti Liner - I used to love this but nt prefer the L'Oreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss, so this has been demoted to Davids, its still nice though so Im happy to use it here occasionally.

Miss Sporty Eyeliner Pencils - Ive had these for ages, and they work alright so Im just keeping them there to use them up as Id never use them at home over the better ones I have there. Not bad products though but there are definately way better liners out there!

ELF Powder Brush - I use this to apply foundations effortlessly and quickly, its much cheaperthan the Sigma F80I use at home and still does a fantastic job.

Blush Brush (No name) - I keep these random brushes from sets at Davids as the quality doesnt bother me for one of applications, so this works fine at applying blush. Maybe as my brush collection grows Ill keep some more expensive, nicer ones there instead.

Eyeshadow Shader Brush (No name) - Ive literally had this since I was abut 13 and it was the only brush I owned. It works fine at applying a wash of colour to the lid and also a little through the crease.

Elf Eyeliner Brush - Since I gt my new Sigma Liner Brush for at home this one has moved to Davids to use with my gel liner there.

Eyelash curlers (No name) - Again Ive had these for years but they work alright for the odd use!

The one thing I dont really keep at Davids are lipsticks, because I just carry whichever I fancy usng with me in my handbag at the time, rather than leaving some there then going looking for them at home and not having them there.

So maybe this was a slightly pointless post, Im not sure. But thanks for reading anyway!

FOTE...Unplanned Night Out

So on saturday at about 5:30pm me and my friends decided we were bored so we were going to go out in town, and had the best night in a long long time! Heres how I did my make up (I even wore lashes for the first time in about a year!)...

Face:
Loreal Studio Secrets Resurfacing Primer
Jemma Kidd Light As Air Foundation in 02 Light
 Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer
MAC Dollymix Blusher
MAC MSF Natural in Medium
Rimmel Brow Pencil in Hazel
ELF Eyebrow Treat and Tame in Ash

Eyes:
MAC Vintage Selection Paintpot
MAC Blanc Type e/s inner corner
Urban Decay Toasted e/s outer half
MAC Beauty Marked e/s through crease
Urban Decay Creep e/s a touch to define crease
Maybelliene Gel Eyeliner
Avon Supershock Liner in waterline
One coat of Step 1 of Bourjois Volumizer mascara to top and bottom lashes
Eylure Girls Aloud Kimberly Lashes with Duo glue

Lips:
MAC Girl About Town Lipstick

Im not too sure where I stand on false lashes. I like the ones that look natural, I never want to actually clearly look like Im wearing falsies, but for the hassle of putting these on they lok pratically identical to my own lashes when I put a decent mascara on. Not too sure if its worth it saying as it doesnt look so much different to me! What do you think?

Nail Polish Haul

Just realised how long it is since I last posted here, Im not going to make any excuses as I dont think I really need to, I just havent, but Ive got lots of little ideas now! This is a haul post of sorts, just a few nail polishes Ive recently acquired from Christmas onwards. I included  few of them in a recent haul video you can see here if you like, but I didnt really show them up close, so here we go...

A nice little mixture of OPI, Essie, Mdels Own, Avonn and Sally Hansen

OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark
One Ive wanted for a long time, and finally caved and bought it. Its
a lovely deep winter colour which is quite unusual in real life, it has kind of purple and red tones to it which looks quite nice. I havent worn it yet but Im about to paint my nails with it once Ive finished this post, excited!

OPI'S Too Hot Pink To Hold'em
A gorgeous hot pink, I cant have enough pink nail polish and this is a lovely bright addition to it. I cnt wait to wear thi n brigt summery days, and even now on dull winter days it makes you feel slightly more bright and happier.

OPI's Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous
This was a Christmas gift, and not really one I would have picked myself, but its actually really nice when its on. It looks really shimmery and metallic looking on the nails and is actually really flattering. I like nice suprises like this.

Nicole by OPI's Step To The Beat Of My Heart
This is part of the Justin Beiber collection, but that didnt stop me buying this because I loved it at first sight. Im a big fan of glitter top coats over other colours and I thought this heart shaped version was lovely and ridiculously girly, and also a bit of a change from regular glitter ones. However its really difficult and takes a lot of patience and concentration getting the hearts out on to the brush. Then when you apply them to get them in the right places you have to kind of dot them on, which doesnt make for a very smooth or even coat of polish. Still, I cant help but love this.

Models Own Juicy Jules
Everytime Im at the Models Own stand in my Boots this is always sold out, the pretty ones I always like are, and so I had to snap this up when I saw it sat there. I dont knw whether t wear this over a colour or build it up and wear it alone.

Essie's Super Bossa Nova
Another bright pink, but this one was a Christmas gift and my first Essie polish. This one is more blue toned and right up my street. My boyfriend chose well! Its got lots of lovely blue toned shimmer through it, another one Im really looking forward to wearing!

Avon's Sequined Turquoise
I got this for Christmas from my Mam and its so bloody gorgeous on. Its exactly what the name suggests, a beautiful glittery turquoise greeny toned blue (more so than it looks in the picture). I wre it for New Year and got loads of compliments. I love Avon polishes and Im glad to have this added to my collection.

Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Base and Top Coat
I got this as I sadly looked EVERYWHERE for a new bottle of Sally Hansen Insta-Dry (the red bottle) and cant find it anywhere...does anyone know if its been discontinued?! I hope not! I gave up hope and bought this instead, and although it is nice as a base coat, and Ive used it as a tp coat too and it does keep my nail varnish on forever. However, it cant live up to Insta-Dry, it takes so long to dry. I painted my nails 3 hours before bed and woke up in the morning with dul loking nails as the shine had all been transfered away by the inprint of my pillows on my nails...if tht makes any sense to you. So "Diamond Shine"...not so much. I just really need my Insta-Dry back :(

My Favourite Products of 2011

I realise that this is later than I would have prefered, and I also would have prefered to do this a a video...But Ive currently got tonsilitus and its just not a pretty sight (or sound for that matter). So here it is in blog post form....Theres quite a lot of products in here but Ive truely been loving each and every one of them to death this year! So lets get started...

Brushes...
ELF Angled Eyeliner Brush - This is perfect for applying gel liner, and so affordable too. The angled part kind of helps to get into the eye better, if that makes sense?!
Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki - The only brush Ive used for foundation since I got it, amazing!! But a bit of a bitch to clean.
ELF Powder Brush - Pretty similar to the Sigma one, good for foundation but brilliant for cream blush, or setting powder
MAC 217 Blending Brush - My best investment this year, really soft, applies eyeshadow like a dream! Absolutely fab for blending as well as applying shadows. I want more of these.

 Face Products...
Firstly I'd like to mention MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish Natural as my favourite powder of the year, I ran out and have another en route in the post so dont have it to photograph otherwise it would be here.
MAC Dollymix Blush - Its bright pink, and its beautiful with a light hand, great for both winter and summer.
MAC Blushcreme Ladyblush - The perfect everyday colour, looks incredibly natural on the skin, my fave.
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer - Creamy, long lasting, fab coverage, inexpensive...best concealer ever.
Jemma Kidd Light As Air Foundation - Really blendable, a little goes a long way, feels so lightweight on the skin but gives an amazing coverage and is incredibly long lasting, my ultimate foundation. I even have a back-up....and I never do that with foundations!

Eye Products...
MAC All That Glitters Eyeshadow - I use this over my lid most days, everyone should own this! It will go with any skin tone too, great for a  wash of colour and a flick of liner.
MAC Satin Taupe Eyeshadow - An absolute staple in my collection, the perfect crease colour.
Urban Decay Naked Palette - Need I explain this one? Love it to death, cant wait to try Naked 2!
Avon Supershock Mascara - Loved this for years its amazingly volumising, couldnt be without this in my collection.
ELF Eyeshadow Primer - Its £3 and keeps my eyeshadow in place all day, bloody amazing.
ELF Eyebrow Treat and Tame - I only use the tame side, as a blonde brow gel, its cheap and works well too.
MAC Vintage Selection Paint Pot - Its an unreal primer, and also so pretty alone, Ive worn this to death this year.
Avon Supershock Eyeliner - It sso creamy but doesnt transfer, blackest black ever, this is my third this year! Literally cant see myself trying a different black eye kohl ever.
Maybelleine Gel Liner - Drug store price for a high end quality product. Stays in place all day and goes on a dream, much easier to use than liquid I think.

Lip Products...
Avon Pro-to-go Lipstick in Provocative Plum - Its the perfect "wash" of plummy colour, and is a nice colourul daytime option without being too full on. Lovely.
Carmex Cherry Lipbalm - Simply put, its the most effective lip balm Ive ever came across.
MAC Big Baby Plushglass - You can see how much Ive used this, its a perfect peachy nude and lovely formula, favourite ever lipgloss.
Nars Turkish Delight Lipgloss - Only bought because of Kim Kardashian (ridic.) But its actually bloody gorgeous, and looks great over nude lippie.
No7 Lip Pencil in Plum - These are so cheap with a £5 off No7 voucher and are lovely liners, really soft, I have a few and love them all just decided to picture this one
MAC Girl About Town Lipstick - My favourite night out lipstick, lovely and bright but doesnt look too crazy, I always get compliments when I wear this.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight - The perfect nude for my skin tone, no concealer lips here! Alsot he formula is super silky and gorgeous.

Skincare...
Firstly, if I could I would include my new Liz Earle products and my Clarisonic in here as they blow all other skincare Ive used out the water, but since I only owned them for 6 days of 2011, I cant really...so these lot are things I have liked, but not as much as my new stuff!
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream with SPF50 - This is my go to sunscreen, which I should use everyday but often forget. Its not greasy or suncream-ish at all, and is really a lovely moisturiser in itself. Applying this once in the morning on holiday protected my face from burning all day. Winner.
S&G Off Your Face Wipes - If you could ever find a face wipe that was really good, this is it. Expensive, but so much nicer than the cheap ones in every way.
Clearasil Seal and Clear Spot Treatment - Slightly gross, but I find this works nicely at reducing any breakouts, especially if I get them as soon as they arrive!
Dermalogica Face Mask & Exfoliant - Boy have I made these babies last me! Teeny samples but Ill never afford the full size. Each use has seen my skin magically so much cleaner and clearer and beautiful. Loveeeee.

Nails...
Barry M Nail Paint in Pink Flamingo - I never had this off my nails all summer, so pretty in the sun with a tan!
Revlon Facets of Fuschia - Love at first sight with this one, so so pretty camera doesnt do it justice.
Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Top Coat - Pretty awesome topcoat, makes my polish last ages longer! This bottle has gone gloopy now though and its nearly empty, time for a new one!
Barry M Red Glitter Nail Paint - Nothing is more Christmassy than this polish, but I want to wear it nowwww. So pretty it distracts me from things haha.

Hair...
Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo/Conditioner - I literally cant use anything other than these two when washing my hair or it goes flat as a pancake, used them all year and my hair is still responding nicely. I wont be straying at all in the near future.
Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo - Its cheap and works fine in my blonde hair for freshening it up, I only like the Tropical scent though.
Elnett Hairspray - Its just the best, by far. I love how it brushes out and doesnt leave much build up on your hair at all but still holds a style amazingly. I once had full on curls for 3 days because of this.
The Tangleteezer - The most effective yet gentle brush ever. So kind to my hair, I havent touched another brush since I got this.
John Freider Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray - This has brought a new lease of life to my nautrally dull blonde hair and its such a prettier colour now and I havet had to dye it properly. Savior!

Body, Bath, Etc...
S&G Hand Food - Best hand cream ever, gone through tonnes of this stuff now, Im slightly addicted to it.
S&G The Righteous Butter - I have got the world and his wife using this now, even my good old Nana loves it. Such a silky body butter that works wonders and smells unreal.
Paco Robanne Lady Million - This is my signature scent now. You must all smell it, Im in love with it and barely wear anything else now.
S&G The Breakfast Scrub - Another thing where I wont be straying to sample different brands, this is my favourite scrub by miles. Smells so good I could eat it and does a fabjob at slogging off my dead skin, lovely thought I know!
Lush Pop in the Bath Bubble Bar - Ive been through dozens of these this year, they have a gorgeous fresh smell that Im always in the mood for, lovely bubble bar :)
Rituals Foaming Shower Gel - Only had this a month but really love it. It leaves you feeling super clean and fresh and the foam feels rather luxurious, definately will repurchase it!

Dear me this has taken me SO long to sit and write I think I need a good cup of tea haha. Thanks for reading if you got this far!

November Empties!

Here we have the products I finished up in November, some of which I was a little sad about, and some of which I have already replaced....

Firstly we have the Eyeko Big Eyes mascara, which when I bought it (around a year ago) was retailing at £8. Eyeko have now totally chaned their branding and most of their products, so now they have a "masacara wardrobe" of a number of types of mascaras with differing wands claiming to do different things to your lashes. Now from the looks of things, this mascara is now retailed as the "Skinny mascara" for lengthening lashes at £15 a pop! What?! Really?! As it so happens, I think I would possibly pay that rpice for this mascara, in the hope that its basically the same as the Big Eyes one. I have to say I fell absolutely in love with this mascara. It is extremely good at lengthening your lashes, and the thin brush means you can get the smaller ones nicely too. I used to use it over my regular mascara to give a more lngethened and dramatic look, and it came to be that I was doing this on a daily basis. Sadly this has completely ran out now (I know, I know youre only meant to use them for a few month...but seriously who really does that when its stil working well for you?). The good thing was because of the squeezy tube I could squeeze it around a bit to get the product that was on the edges to get more use out of it, lovely :)

After that extremely long ramble about the mascara, I hope to keep this one short and ever so sweet. This eyeliner was one the Avon Supershock one. As you can se I used it until I literally could no longer sharpen it, the lid is now longer than the pencil. This is my favourite eyeliner EVER EVER EVER. Its so creamy soft, incredibly easy and quick to apply, and suprisingly long lasting I find considering its consistency. Many people complain about its tendancy to smudge, but really I dont find this a problem what so ever. Im already using what was my back-up of this, and loving having a full length pencil to use again rather than this stump! Although it was very travel friendly for when I went on holiday haha.

Soap and Glory never fail to disappoint me. This is no exception. Hand Food is my all time favourite hand cream. Ive gone through a fair few small tubes, which I keep in my handbag for use on the go, but this is the first time Ive ran out of a big tube, as I keep this in the house in my bedside table. This squirts out a far larger amount than the small tubs in one go, so you have to be more careful when squeexing it out, and a little really goes a long way so this will last you forever. I got this through the summer and have only just ran out and I use it a lot. Im a hand cream freak. Love this, always.

Now heres a product that you wont find me raving about. Quickies Nail varnish remover pads....good idea in theory, and perfect for travelling. I bought these for when I was on holiday, and I think Ive been spoilt with my Sally Hansen nail varnish remover as I HATED these. I found they took forever and a day to get my polish off, and lfet a wierd feeling to my hands which I couldnt stand. I used half a tub trying to get just one lot of nail varnish off my fingers! I used them up last time I took nail varnish off just to get rid of them. Some people swear by them but I dont understant why really. Maybe, and thats a big maybe, I would use them if I was travelling again, but I think a bottle of my favourite nail varnish remover wouldnt be such a big burden to carry with me as it actually works wonders compared to these. Bummer.

This unidentifiable bottle used to contain Elf Make Up Mist and Set. This is basically the Elf equivalent of MAC Fix+, sort of. It definately isnt as luxurious feeling as Fix+, but for a girl on a budget, I like! I use this to set my make-up, especialyl when it has gone sort of cakey and overdone looking, a few sprays of this over my face and it looks so much more natural. Ive ordered another one of these and cant wait to have a pretty bottle of it again rather than this one where the print has rubbed away. Definately would recommend this!

Those of you who have read my blog for the past year will have seen this a million times, and for that, I apologise. This has been in so many empties posts I cant even imagine. This is he Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil Free Moisturiser. It claims to help clear spots, that Im not sure of, but what I will say it is a lovely, light moisturiser. It gives a lovely amount of moisture to my face without being like a slick on my skin, and sinks in very nicely and quickly so I dont have to wait around for ages before putting on my foundation. Its pretty basic, but it seems to agree with me so I will continue to repurchase what I know works until some miracle moisturiser comes along.

Here lies a product that Im sad to have come to the end of. As I said before, Soap and Glory are always a winner for me, and Scrub Your Nose In  It is one of my favourite products Ive tried from them. This tube has lasted me since last Christmas, (!!) and Ive used it loads too so its well worth it. It is essentially a face scrub/mask. So how I used it was to smooth it over my face, leave it for a few minutes, then when getting it off I would scrub it like a scrub to get the best of both worlds. This does tingle/sting a bit, but this really doesnt bother me as my skin isnt at all sensitive, and I quite like that as I feel like its "working". Ill definately repurchase this soon as the only other products liek this I have are from Dermalogica (Glossybox samples) and Elemis, which I use sparignly as I was vair expensive! To be honest I actually liek this S&G one more anyway, it leaves my skin feeling very very clean and smooth, just lovely!

So thats what I finished up this month, that was a mammoth post, my fingers are numb from typing now!
Thanks for reading my lovelies, and dont forget to enter my 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway
